Endodontics is the branch of dentistry dealing with the treatment of dental nerves and of diseases in the tissues surrounding the teeth.

Endodontic treatment covers toothache, cold-hot sensitivity, tooth abscesses, decoloring of teeth, treatment of teeth damaged by an accident.

It also involves the root canal treatment and surgical procedures performed around the roots.
